6 c. chopped pecans
1 lb. white raisins
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
3/4 c. flour (to mix with fruit)
1 stick margarine
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
4 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
3 scant tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
5 Tbsp. milk
1/2 c. wine
Preparation

Chop nuts and fruit well.
Flour all fruit with the 3/4 cup flour; set aside.
Cream butter and brown sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add to sugar and butter mixture.
Fold the nuts, fruit, milk and wine into mixture; mix well.
Drop by tablespoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
