Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chopped squash, precook in salt water
    1 stick butter
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. almonds
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. chopped bell peppers, cook with onions
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. pimento
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook onions and bell peppers in the butter until tender.
    Add all the other ingredients except cheese.
    Pour into casserole dish; put cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until everything is cooked through good and cheese is done.
