Old Fashioned Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 5 lb.) roast
    5 to 6 medium potatoes, cubed
    2 medium onions, cubed
    3 to 4 carrots, sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. brown gravy mix
Preparation
    Cook roast almost done.
    Cover with water.
    Add vegetables and salt.
    Cook for 20 minutes, then add gravy mix.
    Simmer 20 minutes longer.
