Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 medium can sliced beets, drained
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper.
    Add beet juice; cook until thickened.
    Add the orange juice.
    Add beets.
