Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
2 eggs
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Stir in buttermilk.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture, stirring only until ingredients are well moistened.
Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool before slicing.
