Crispy Fried Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 lb. fresh okra
1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
salt and pepper
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 egg, lightly beaten
cooking spray
Preparation

Combine cornmeal, salt and pepper.
Dredge okra in cornmeal mix.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Mix with egg and buttermilk.
Bake on cookie sheet at 450\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until crisp.
