Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. ground beef (lean)
1 1/3 c. tomatoes, canned and drained
1/3 c. liquid from the tomatoes
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
4 green peppers
1/3 c. onion, chopped
Preparation

Cook meat and onion; drain fat.
Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Add liquid and simmer for 30 minutes in covered skillet.
Cut green peppers in half.
Remove the seeds and cook in boiling water for 3 minutes.
Drain off water, fill pepper halves with mixture and arrange in greased baking dish.
Add 1/4 cup hot water in bottom of baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Two pepper halves per serving.
Yield:
4 servings.
