Beef Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. shredded carrots
    3 c. shredded cabbage
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 jar herb style spaghetti sauce
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In medium skillet, saute onion in butter until soft, but not brown.
    Add beef and cook, breaking up meat, until pink is gone. In a 2-quart buttered casserole dish, layer the carrots and half of the cabbage.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add meat mixture, press down slightly and add remaining cabbage.
    Add spaghetti sauce and Worcestershire sauce and mix.
    Pour over top of casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
    Add cheese on top and bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
    Serve with tomato slices.
