Macaroni And Shrimp Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 chopped pimento
    1 c. cooked or canned shrimp
    1 Tbsp. minced sweet onion
    1 green pepper, slivered
    French dressing (thin)
    about 3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 hard-cooked egg, sliced
    crisp salad greens
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling salted water only until just tender, then drain.
    Rinse with cold water and drain again.
    Chill thoroughly.
    Mix chilled macaroni with celery, pimento, shrimp, onion and green pepper.
    Add French dressing to coat the ingredients and marinate for at least a hour.
    Drain any excess French dressing from salad and add mayonnaise to bid the ingredients together.
    Pile in a lettuce lined bowl and garnish with egg slices.
    Or pile into individual lettuce cups and garnish with egg slices.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
