Never Fail Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. syrup
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    7 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil all but vanilla 1 full minute.
    Add vanilla.
    Let cool until almost cold.
    Then beat and spread on cake.
