Cozze Affogate Con Vino Bianco - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 doz. mussels
2 sprigs parsley, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. dry white wine
1/4 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Scrub and rinse tightly closed mussels thoroughly, until completely grit free.
Place in a large kettle with all ingredients.
Cover tightly.
Steam over low heat for 15 minutes or until shells open.
Jerk pot upwards from time to time to turn mussels.
Remove mussels and strain liquid.
Remove top shells from mussels and place on large platter.
Pour liquid over mussels. Enjoy!
