Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 large can plum tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Brown garlic and onion in a small amount of oil.
    Pour tomatoes (including juice) into blender and chop.
    Add to garlic and onions.
    Add sugar, salt, pepper and parsley.
    Bring to a boil and cook rapidly for 5 minutes (to melt sugar).
    Lower flame and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in oregano last few minutes.
