Golden Anniversary Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    46 oz. can pineapple juice
    12 oz. can frozen orange juice
    6 oz. can frozen lemonade
    5 very ripe bananas, crushed
    3 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Bring water and sugar to boiling point and boil for 3 minutes. Cool.
    Add remaining ingredients and freeze in three 1/2 gallon cartons.
    Take out 1 hour ahead of serving time and thaw to a slush.
    When ready to serve, mix one quart ginger ale to a 1/2 gallon carton.
    Serves 50 people.
