Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 bananas, sliced
    vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and 1 cup sugar in 2-quart saucepan.
    Beat egg yolks well.
    Add egg yolks and milk to sugar mixture.
    Cook until thickened.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Add butter.
