Peanut Brittle Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt, water, syrup and peanuts together in a 10-inch skillet.
    Bring to a good boil and cook until the peanuts and syrup turn a light brown.
    Remove from heat and add soda.
    Mix well. Pour onto greased cookie sheet to cool.
    Remove from pan and break into pieces.
    Store in a sealed or airtight container.
