Chocolate Caramel Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. brownie supreme mix (with can of chocolate flavor syrup)
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
    1 egg
    1 pkg. vanilla caramels (14 oz.)
    1/3 c. milk
    1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1 2/3 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease bottom only of rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
    Measure 2 tablespoons chocolate flavor syrup; reserve.
    Mix brownie mix, remaining syrup, water and egg with spoon just until mix is moistened.
    Spread in pan.
    Bake for 27 to 30 minutes (do not overbake).
