Fudge Ribbon Cake - cooking recipe

1 (18 1/4 or 18 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Prepare cake mix as package directs. Pour batter into well-greased and floured Bundt pan.
In small mixer bowl, beat cream cheese, margarine and cornstarch until fluffy.
Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then egg and vanilla.
Pour evenly over cake batter.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool thoroughly.
Glaze or garnish as desired.
Store covered in refrigerator.
