Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. potatoes, mashed
    1 pkg. yeast
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. Wesson oil
    3 1/4 c. plain flour
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Mix water, potatoes, yeast, sugar and salt; let set for 20 minutes.
    Add egg, oil and flour, mixing well.
    Let rise until double.
    Work again; roll out and cut.
    Let rise until double again.
    Cook in hot oil.
