Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

5 to 7 tart apples (5 c.)
1 (9-inch) pastry shell
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
6 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Pare and cut up apples and arrange in pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Mix 1/3 cup sugar with flour and cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. If pie browns too quickly, cover edges with foil.
