Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked pie shell
3/4 c. sugar
3 heaping Tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks
2 c. milk, scalded
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Scald milk in double boiler.
Mix sugar, flour, egg yolks and salt together and small amount of scalded milk.
Mix well and add this mixture to remaining scalded milk.
Stir well. Cool in top of double boiler until thickened. Add vanilla, butter and coconut. Pour in baked pie shell. Top with meringue; brown.
