Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks
2 sq. chocolate
1 baked pie shell
meringue
Preparation

Beat egg yolks lightly and stir in sugar.
Add milk and butter.
Beat flour into 1/4 cup milk to smoothness and stir this and vanilla into mixture.
Cook in double boiler until quite thick.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue made from the 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten.
Add 2 tablespoons sugar.
Place in a 350\u00b0 oven and allow top of meringue to become a delicate brown.
(This is a very rich and creamy pie!)
