German Caramel Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

50 Kraft caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate or regular chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted margarine
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Combine cake mix, margarine and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Spread 1/2 of cake mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Drizzle caramel mixture over baked cake.
If you're going to add nuts, add to remaining cake.
Top the caramel mixture with remaining cake mixture.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cool; then cut into bars.
