Southern Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 c. milk
4 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. cornmeal
2 c. flour
Preparation

Blend with wire wisk in order given.
Use stoneground fresh cornmeal for best results.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Dividing this recipe and using a smaller pan is acceptable.
Test for doneness same as for cakes.
