Fish Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. white fish
1 small piece salt pork
2 to 3 medium onions, chopped
4 to 5 potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
Preparation

Cook fish in a 3-quart saucepan in water, until fish flakes easily.
Brown salt pork in skillet; remove from skillet.
Saute onions in drippings until golden.
Add onions and salt pork to saucepan.
Add potatoes and water to cover.
Cook until potatoes are tender.
Add evaporated milk.
Heat to serving temperature. Yield:
6 servings.
