Candied Chex - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. white syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 large box Corn or Rice Chex
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil for 5 minutes the butter, syrup and brown sugar.
    Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla.
    Pour over cereal in a large, flat pan and stir well.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
