Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 to 4 bananas
    1 pkg. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and sugar.
    Add beaten egg yolks and milk and mix well.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Take off heat, add butter and vanilla.
    Pour half of pudding over vanilla wafers and sliced bananas in layers until all used up.
    Add beaten egg whites on top, place under broiler until lightly brown.
    Cool.
