Pastel Party Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    1 pkg. strawberry jello
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Add water to juice of berries to make 2 1/2 cups.
    Heat to boiling.
    Dissolve jello in hot liquid.
    Add 1 quart vanilla ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring, until melted.
    Chill until thick, not set.
    Fold in berries.
    Pour into pie shell.
