Pineapple Cream Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

1 graham cracker pie crust
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip
16 oz. crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Blend together the cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and the vanilla.
Fold in Cool Whip; pour into pie crust.
In a saucepan, cook the pineapple, 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch until shiny or glazy.
Let cool, then pour over pie.
Refrigerate to set.
