Round Steak In Red Devil Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    seasoned flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 onions, sliced
    1 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. beef extract
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Roll steak in seasoned flour and pound with mallet or the edge of a saucer.
    Cut in serving pieces.
    Brown meat in shortening. Remove steak and brown onions in same shortening and pan.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Mix well and return steak to sauce.
    Cover and cook 1 1/2 hours, until tender.
    Add a little more water if gravy is too thick.
    Serve with rice.
