Mama'S Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
3/4 c. milk
4 eggs
2 Tbsp. vanilla
3 c. nuts, chopped

Preparation

In large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Stir in sugar. Add sliced Crisco, butter, milk, vanilla and eggs. Beat all at one time for 3 minutes. Scrape sides and beat 2 more minutes. Add nuts; stir in well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
