24 Hour Open Jar Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1 qt. vinegar
    3/4 c. canning salt
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Cut tips and ends off of larger pickles.
    Slice pickles in spears.
    Put some dill and sliced onion in the bottom of the Tupperware Fix-N-Mix bowl.
    Fill with the long sliced pickles. Boil the juice good and pour over pickles.
    Let stand 24 hours and then put in jars.
    Refrigerate.
    (Put a large plate on top of pickles in bowl so they are covered with juice and don't float and these are very good and a \"hit\" with many people.)
