Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    1 box yellow cake mix
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients the day before; put in refrigerator.
    Bake yellow cake mix per directions on box.
    Cut layers into 4 layers.
    Ice.
