Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat.
    Add brown sugar.
    Blend well. Cool.
    Stir in egg.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Stir into butter mixture.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Spread in well-greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
    Cut bars while warm.
