Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans whole cranberry sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 large apple, diced small
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can crushed pineapple
    6 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 orange, ground
    1/2 c. chopped English walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat cranberry sauce, being careful not to scorch.
    Stir gently so as to not break or mash berries.
    Strain, reserving juice.
    Dissolve jello in hot water.
    Add salt and lemon juice. Chill until slightly jelled (enough to mound a little when dropped from spoon).
    Mold in individual molds or one large mold.
