Creek Coffee Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter or shortening
    2 c. sugar
    6 egg yolks
    1 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    8 c. all-purpose flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    sesame seeds (optional)
Preparation
    Cream shortening.
    Add sugar and mix thoroughly.
    Add eggs, beating well.
    Add sour cream and vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add slowly to mixture, kneading well.
    Using a small piece of dough (a little larger than a walnut), roll in your hand to any shape desired.
    Brush with a beaten egg; dip in sesame seeds.
    Bake on cookie sheet in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
