Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    2 eggs
    1 tall (No. 303) can fruit cocktail, well drained
    1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Sift together first 4 ingredients three times.
    Add eggs, unbeaten.
    Add fruit cocktail.
    Mix together.
    Place in 9 x 15-inch pan, greased and floured.
    Sprinkle with nuts and brown sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
