Sausage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. bratwurst
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
3 potatoes, peeled and diced
1 1/2 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. chopped celery
1 onion, chopped
4 cans beef broth
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
3 c. shredded cabbage (optional)
Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation

Parboil sausage; cut in bite size slices.
Brown sausage in a large pan, drain off fat.
Add all remaining ingredients except cabbage and Parmesan.
Bring to a boil; cover and simmer at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Add cabbage and simmer 5 minutes longer.
Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
