Streusel Filled Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c Sifted Flour
    3 tsp. Baking Powder
    1/4 tsp. Salt
    3/4 c. Sugar
    1/4 c. Shortening
    1 Egg
    1/2 c. Milk
    1 tsp. Vanilla
Preparation
    Sift the four, baking powder, salt and sugar together. cut in the shortening with a pastry blender until the mixture is like fine corn meal.
    Blend in well beaten egg, mixed with the milk.
    Then blend in the vanilla, and beat just enough to mix well.
    Pour half of the batter into a well greased and floured 6x10-inch or an 8-inch square baking pan.
    Sprinkle with half the streusel mixture. Add remaining batter, and sprinkle remaining streusel mixture over the top.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
