Antipasto Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. rotini noodles, uncooked
    3/4 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (15 or 19 oz.) can chickpeas
    2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 c. chopped tomato
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. cubed Provolone cheese
    1/2 lb. sliced hard salami
    1/2 c. sliced pitted olives
    1 can anchovies (optional)
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Rinse with cold water to cool quickly; drain well.
