Homemade Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick margarine
1/4 c. flour
2 c. water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
thyme
basil
onion flakes
1 bunch broccoli
milk
1 c. half and half
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
Preparation

In a heavy pot, heat butter and flour; stir until smooth.
Add water and bouillon cubes.
Heat thoroughly over medium heat.
Add spices, broccoli and milk to desired thickness.
Cook over medium heat, covered, until broccoli is done.
Add cheese and half and half.
Bring to a boil to melt cheese.
Turn off, serve immediately.
