Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped celery
1 Tbsp. celery seed (optional)
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar (can use less)
1/3 c. water
2/3 c. cider vinegar
Preparation

Rinse sauerkraut with cold water.
Drain well.
Combine with pepper, onion, celery and celery seed in medium bowl.
Heat sugar with water, oil and vinegar until dissolved.
Pour over sauerkraut mixture.
Refrigerate for 24 hours.
Keeps well in refrigerator.
