German Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 potatoes, scrubbed (not peeled)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. cubed beef Hillshire Farm sausage or Eckrich smoked sausage
    1 (7 oz.) can sauerkraut
    1/3 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut potatoes into thumb size pieces. Add onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Brown in a small amount of oil for 25 minutes until tender. Add sausage; heat and stir occasionally. Drain kraut and spread on top. DO NOT STIR. Cover and heat.
