Ingredients

2 c. flour
3/4 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine ingredients.
Save 1/2 cup nuts.
Chill for 1 hour. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Roll in nuts.
Place on ungreased sheets.
Press thumb in center of each.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Fill thumbprints with jam or jelly.
