Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. cocoa
    3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
    Stir in milk; bring to a boil (bubbly), boiling over medium heat, stirring, until soft ball stage or reaches 230\u00b0.
    Remove from fire and add butter and vanilla.
    Do not stir.
    Cool at room temperature or 110\u00b0.
    Beat until thickens and loses gloss.
    Spread in lightly buttered pan.
    Let cool.
    Cut and serve.
