Baked Fish Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. whitefish fillets
    8 thin slices Cheddar cheese
    3/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Place half of the fillets in greased baking dish and cover with 4 slices of cheese.
    Sprinkle with thyme and parsley.
    Saute onions and add.
    In top of double boiler, melt butter; stir in flour.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Cook until the mixture thickens.
    Pour over fish and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
