Onion Rye Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions, crushed
    1 (2 oz.) jar crumbled bacon or 3/4 c. cooked bacon bits
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    3 c. (12 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
    1 (14 oz.) jar pizza sauce
    1 (16 oz.) loaf snack rye bread
Preparation
    In a small mixing bowl, combine the crushed fried onions, bacon bits, mayonnaise and Swiss cheese. Stir well. Spread about 1 teaspoon pizza sauce on each slice of party rye.
    Top with about 1 tablespoon cheese mixture.
