Raspberry Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. water
3/8 c. sugar
2 c. raspberries
2 1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
5 tsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
Preparation

Boil water, sugar and raspberries.
Mix all the dry ingredients.
Mix the butter with the dry ingredients until blended.
Beat the egg with the milk and incorporate all at once to the dry ingredients.
Don't overbeat the dough.
Add teaspoonful of the dough in the raspberries syrup.
Cover and cook 20 minutes.
You can use strawberries or blueberries, if you prefer.
