Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large onions, cut into chunks
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. grated Swiss cheese
    2/3 c. half and half
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine until transparent, not brown.
    Add rice to water and cook 5 minutes.
    Place rice, onions and cheese in baking dish.
    Stir in half and half.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
