Ingredients

4 large potatoes
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Grate potatoes.
Add all other ingredients.
Mix and let stand for several minutes.
In lightly greased skillet, add several tablespoons of batter to make round pattie.
Fry on each side until golden brown.
Serve with butter and syrup, also good with applesauce.
Can be doubled for larger servings.
