Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dark corn syrup
9-inch pie shell, unbaked
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Gradually add vanilla, eggs and syrup. Sprinkle pecans in pie shell.
Pour filling over pecans.
Bake in preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes longer, or until pie is set.
